With half the breast completed, you can get an idea of how the project is going to look.
The feathers are burned from the neck, down the breast and to the rear. The feather isf
burned by putting the tip of the pyro pen on the edge of the feather above and 'pulling it away. The tip of the pen
has a tendency to cool as it passes through the wood - hence the darker colour of the feather at its base.

The feathers on the breast are not relieved in any way. The texturing gives the appreance of
rounded feathers. This texture will be evident even through the paint that will be applied later.
